This class will be taught in both French and English by the incredible Graziella Augier of Design Sucré.
We have been waiting to find THE perfect teacher of realistic flowers, with a modern taste and outlook and we did not have to look super far. The lovely Graziella (may we boast, Gold Medal winner at Cake International!) of Design Sucré was a student at our school and is now a much requested sugar flowers teacher! Backs patted everywhere.
You will need some experience in working with florist paste or gum paste in this class - if you have been to one of our other sugar flower classes, or indeed Graziella's Beginners Class, you will be fine. This class is for those of you who wish to take their sugar flower making skills to an entirely new level. When we first posted pictures of Grazeilla's work on our Instagram feed, people absolutely refused to believe that these flowers were made of florist paste! Have a look yourself:

In this incredible two day class, you will learn:
How to make a realistic looking rose out of florist paste
How to use dusting colours to make your rose petals look lifelike
How to add little tiny details to a few petals to make outside rose petals look real
How to make incredible lily petals (each wired) with painted-on details
How to make surprisingly detailed lily centres (see picture above)
How to make realistic looking rose leaves using dust colours and confectioners glaze
How to bind together rose leaves in an elegant arrangement
You will go home with:
One large lifelike rose
Several rose leaves (depending on your speed) bound together in a little branch
One rose bud
One large lily
All ingredients and equipment for the day are provided, you do not need to bring anything with you!
